Curatorial practice, research, publishing.

I’m a curator and researcher with a background in Classical Studies and a BA in Comparative Languages and Cultures from L’Orientale, University of Naples. I completed my MA in Art Education in Curatorial Studies at Zurich University of the Arts.

My work moves across curating, writing, and collaborative projects at the intersection of mythology, migration, and history, with a focus on Southern Italian and Mediterranean contexts. I research how narratives of Otherness emerge through bodies, cosmologies, and borders.

I view curating as a political and epistemic practice that challenges dominant narratives, embraces complexity and vulnerability, and encourages collaborative exploration. I prioritize community and collaboration over individualism, developing ideas through shared thinking, dialogue, and collective processes.

Skills and expertise:

  • Curating and programming — developing exhibitions and cultural projects with strong conceptual frameworks.

  • Research and writing — conducting research, producing catalog essays, wall texts, press materials, and grant applications.

  • Event and project management — coordinating timelines, logistics, and resources for exhibitions and public programs.

  • Cultural production and assistance — supporting artists, institutions, and collectives in realizing projects.

  • Art handling and installation — ensuring the safe transport, preparation, and display of works.

  • Public speaking and mediation — leading tours, moderating panels, and engaging audiences in dialogue.
